10/10/2025 • qr, print, ux
A great business card QR scans instantly and sends contacts to the right place—your vCard, website, or link hub.
Steps
-
Decide the destination (vCard link, website, link hub).
-
Open the QR Generator and enter the URL/text: /qr-generator
-
Choose high-contrast colors; keep a light background and dark foreground.
-
Add a centered logo if desired and set error correction to “H.”
-
Export SVG for print and size the code to at least ~1.5–2.0 cm (0.6–0.8 in) square on the card.
Short clip (10–30s):
Best practices
- Quiet zone: Keep a clear margin (≥4 modules) around the code.
- Placement: Avoid putting the QR too close to edges or over textures.
- Testing: Print a proof and scan on multiple devices under typical lighting.
