Reorder & Rotate PDF Pages (Power Workflow)

10/15/2025pdf, reorder, rotate

Need to fix the flow of a document and adjust page orientations? Use this workflow to reorder and handle rotations efficiently.

Workflow A: Reorder pages

  1. Open the Reorder section: /pdf-toolkit#reorder
    Step 1 — Open Reorder

  2. Add your PDF (drag-and-drop or click to choose).
    Step 2 — Add PDF

  3. Enter the final order (e.g., 3,1,2 or 5-7,1-3).
    Step 3 — Set order

  4. Run “Reorder Pages,” then download or preview.
    Step 4 — Reorder & download

Workflow B: Handle rotated pages pragmatically

Some PDFs mix portrait and landscape scans. If a page is sideways, use one of these approaches:

  • Quick viewer rotate: Many PDF viewers allow rotating a page view, then “Print to PDF” to bake it in.
  • Rebuild from images:
    1. Export or extract the affected page(s) as images.
B1 — Export page as image
    2. Rotate/crop the image as needed using your image tool of choice.
      B2 — Rotate image
    3. Use Images → PDF to rebuild the corrected page(s): /pdf-toolkit#images
      B3 — Rebuild from images
    4. Merge corrected pages back into the document: /pdf-toolkit#merge
      B4 — Merge back

Tips

  • Batch work: Fix rotations for multiple pages in one pass before merging.
  • Naming: Keep corrected pages labeled clearly (e.g., page-05-rotated.pdf).
  • Preview: Always scan the final output on multiple devices before sending.
